QuEra Computing is seeking a Quantum Scientist to develop system- and algorithm-level performance models for large-scale neutral-atom quantum computers. This mid-level, full-time role sits in the Quantum Applications team in Albuquerque, NM.

You will translate device- and architecture-level models into quantitative estimates of algorithmic fidelity, runtime, and time-to-solution for representative quantum workloads, collaborating with hardware theory, experimental, and application teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance modeling, simulation, or analysis of quantum systems.
• Strong background in quantum information science or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in numerical modeling and data analysis using Python or Julia.
• Ability to analyze experimental or simulated data and correlate results with abstracted models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
