Job summary

Conductor Quantum in San Francisco, CA seeks an Engineering, Electrical engineer with 1+ years of experience for hands-on quantum hardware work. The role covers device bring-up, qubit calibration, and automation within a growing quantum control stack.

Visa sponsorship is available and full-time commitment is expected. You will collaborate across physics, ML, and backend teams to scale calibration pipelines and hardware readiness, helping to move quantum technology toward reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in engineering/electrical roles.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Device bring-up and measurement infrastructure across superconducting qubits.
• Qubit calibration and characterization including spectroscopy and gate calibration.
• Automation of calibration routines and integration with software.
• Maintain system performance and control stack; diagnose issues and implement repairs.
• Collaborate with physicists, ML engineers, and back-end developers to unify hardware, software and data.
• Drive early-stage project milestones (30/60/90 days) with concrete deliverables.
