Job summary

Atom Computing seeks a Supply Chain and Materials Manager to lead purchasing, supplier management, inventory, and logistics for neutral-atom quantum-computer builds. This role ensures specialized optical, laser, vacuum, and electronic components are available when Manufacturing needs them.

You will build and lead the purchasing and logistics team, translate BOMs into requirements, manage POs, ensure traceability, and collaborate with Finance, Planning, and Configuration Control to design

Qualifications

• Interpreting technical purchasing requirements with engineers and suppliers.
• Negotiating with suppliers and planning capacity for low-volume high-complexity components.
• Managing material planning, serialization, and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience with ERP and NetSuite purchasing and inventory workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead purchasing, sourcing, materials, and logistics team with clear supplier ownership.
• Develop sourcing plans for precision optics, laser components, vacuum hardware, and custom electronics.
• Translate BOMs and build schedules into purchasing requirements and kits with approved spares.
• Manage quotations, POs, delivery commitments, and supplier recovery plans with Finance and Eng approval.
