Job summary

NVIDIA Research is seeking interns to advance quantum computing simulation using GPUs. You will work on novel algorithms and software systems, collaborating with ML and quantum teams to push state-of-the-art research.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Quantum Physics or related fields
• 1+ years of relevant research in quantum computing with strong publications and/or patents
• Strong basis in linear algebra and math for quantum computing
• Experience with Python and ideally CUDA
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative algorithms for quantum computing ecosystems
• Collaborate with research and product teams in ML, programming systems, and quantum computing
• Publish and present original research at conferences and events
• Collaborate with external quantum computing researchers
• Run large-scale experiments on GPU clusters to advance quantum computing simulation
