The expected hiring range for this position is:$70,800.00-$93,200.00.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.This position is not eligible for relocation assistance, sponsorship assistance or referral bonus program.About the Role:Fermilab is seeking a Quantum Computing Engineer for a fixed term of 1 year who under direct supervision, will utilize fundamental engineering concepts and principles to perform basic engineering tasks and develop enhanced familiarization with the Laboratory’s method of project engineering, from the design stage through review, procurement, manufacture, installation, test, and operation.What your day-to-day as a Quantum Computing Engineer will look like: Analyzes data and performs engineering calculations.
