Job summary

A Hong Kong/PRC–based project team seeks a Quantity Surveyor to oversee pre- and post-contract contractual and financial duties for residential and commercial projects. You will participate in feasibility studies to establish budgets and supervise tendering, payments, variations and final accounts, ensuring robust financial control.

The role requires 7+ years in Quantity Surveying, fluency in English, Chinese and Putonghua, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Quantity Surveying; exposure to property developers or consultancy firms preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English, Chinese and Putonghua (written and spoken).
  • Effective in team playing and interpersonal skills; diligent and passionate at work.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Review project financial statements and cash flow forecasts to ensure effective financial control
  • Supervise and review variation assessments
  • Manage and oversee the final account settlement process and contractual claims
