Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking highly motivated full-time students for a 10-week quantitative strategy development summer internship. This role focuses on computationally intensive tasks at the intersection of trading, quant research, and technology.

You will work on projects with senior developers across signal creation, quantitative strategy analysis, and low-latency C++ strategy development, gaining education on how markets work and Susquehanna’s trading approach.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in CS/CE/Math or closely related STEM.
• Intention to graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and begin full-time employment by August 2028
• Strong software development skills in Python and a compiled language
• Experience with data libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy
• Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
• Visa sponsorship available

Overview

Susquehanna is looking for highly motivated full-time students for our 10-week quantitative strategy development summer internship program. This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you to use your strong technical skills to solve problems at the intersection of trading, quant and technology.Throughout the summer, you will receive education about how markets work by going through a deep dive into financial markets and Susquehanna’s approach to trading. You will also work on challenging projects for our trading strategy development teams in spaces such as signal creation and detection, quantitative strategy analysis, and low latency C++ strategy development. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects side by side with senior developers who understand the nuances of building complex trading strategies.
