Fionics, a well-funded NY-based HFT firm, is expanding its ETF trading reach. We’re looking for a researcher or trader who can help lead the development of high-frequency ETF strategies, shape the new ETF business line, and own key components alongside PMs and engineers.

The ideal candidate has multiple years of live ETF trading or research experience at an HFT/prop or market-making firm, a track record of profitable strategies, and strong Python and/or C++ coding skills; based in New York or

We're hiring for a well-established, profitable HFT firm in New York. It has been trading for over a decade, is well funded, and doubled its PnL last year. The firm is small, about 30 people, with extremely low turnover and high PnL per head.

They want to build out their ETF trading and are looking for a researcher or trader who can help lead that.

What you'll do

• Research, build and run high-frequency ETF strategies
• Help shape the firm's move into ETFs and related products
• Work closely with the PMs and engineers, with real ownership over what you build

What they're looking for

• Several years' experience trading or researching ETFs at an HFT, prop or market-making firm
• A track record of strategies that have made money in live trading
• Strong coding skills, in Python and/or C++
• Ideally a non-compete of under 12 months
• Based in New York or willing to relocate
