Job description

Multi-strategy, Multi-manager hedge fund is seeking a low-latency quant developer to join a trading team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a low-latency, high-throughput algo trading platform in modern C++
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and researchers to integrate trading strategies into the production environment
  • Profile and optimize system performance
  • Ensure reliability and fault tolerance in production systems
  • Write maintainable and well-tested code in a fast-paced development cycle
Desirable Candidates
  • Strong proficiency in modern C++ and software optimization techniques
  • Good understanding of low-level systems programming
  • Experience with multithreaded programming and high-performance networking (TCP/UDP)
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments and using profiling/debugging tools (e.g., gdb, valgrind)
  • Experience working in quantitative trading, high-frequency trading (HFT), market making, real time market access or real time order management technology preferred
  • Familiarity with exchange protocols and co-location services preferred
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation preferred
