The Quantitative Analytics Director is a strategic analytics leader responsible for transforming complex data into actionable business insights for senior executives and key stakeholders. This role emphasizes insight generation, decision support, and business impact while requiring strong fluency in quantitative methods, large-scale data analysis, and advanced analytical techniques.
The Director will lead the development and implementation of analytical workflows that accelerate insight creation, improve analytical efficiency, and enhance decision-making. A critical responsibility of the role is ensuring these AI capabilities are developed, governed, and deployed in a controlled, transparent, and compliant manner.
This position leads a team of analysts and data scientists and serves as a key partner across business, risk, technology, and analytics functions.
Our team plays a critical role in helping Freddie Mac understand, anticipate, and manage credit risk across a dynamic mortgage market. By bringing together deep insights on how credit risk intersects with other aspects of our business, we provide timely insights that inform business decisions, strengthens governance, and supports the company’s mission. This is a role with opportunities to shape frameworks, influence cross-divisional outcomes, and engage with senior leaders on issues that matter to Credit Risk Management (CRM) as Freddie Mac balances credit risk and other scorecard items.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $214,000 - $322,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
