Job summary

Talos, a global quantitative trading technology firm, seeks a Quantitative Analyst Intern in a hybrid-friendly setup. You will analyze trading data, build quantitative models, and produce signals to support execution strategies while gaining hands-on exposure to crypto markets.

You will work with senior quants and product owners, gaining mentorship and practical experience in data science tooling and finance concepts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python with pandas for data manipulation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud-based querying platforms (BigQuery).
• Exposure to computational finance and quantitative methods.
• Solid statistics and data analysis foundation.
• Knowledge of ML techniques and regression analysis.

Responsibilities

• Quant modelling to analyze trading data and build execution alphas.
• Create analytics visuals illustrating trading patterns and insights.
• Backtest and validate quantitative trading features with internal tools.
• Support in client-facing quantitative content and research reporting.
