Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in commodity trading, procurement, or related markets with market analysis or quantitative modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Ag Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience with Excel-based modeling and data analysis.
• Programming experience (Python, R, SQL) preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of global commodity markets and logistics.
• Ability to translate data insights into commercial decisions.
• Experience with AI/ML in forecasting or trading analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined commodity portfolio or support senior traders with accountability for performance and risk exposure.
• Develop and execute trading strategies within approved risk limits.
• Actively manage price, basis, and structural risk.
• Lead or contribute to global supply/demand modeling and market POV development.
• Apply quantitative techniques to improve forecasting and identify trade opportunities.
• Translate complex market data into actionable trading strategies.
• Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and decision tools.
• Automate data pipelines to improve speed and quality of market insights.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, finance, and risk teams to optimize trades.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and counterparties to support commercial growth.
• Influence trading strategy and contribute to team development.
