Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Quant Core Data engineer with strong Python (and C++) experience to help build scalable data flows used by our researchers and strategists. You will design, develop, and scale the data framework for efficiency, build user-focused packages and tackle greenfield projects to optimize tooling from scratch, all while upholding high performance standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Python or C++, with software meeting strict performance requirements.
• Strong focus on performance, benchmarking, and large-scale computing trade-offs.
• Strong systems fundamentals: virtual memory, NUMA, I/O, networking.
• Deep Linux knowledge.
• Experience in Python data analysis and/or low-level Python.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Enthusiasm for working with data, especially large data sets, with emphasis on correctness.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
