Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills.
• Operating experience with FPI, X-ray machines, CNC machines, and leak testers.
• CNC programming knowledge preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate FPI equipment, X-ray machines, CNCs, and leak testers to inspect castings.
• Inspect castings for acceptance against applicable standards.
• Notify Quality Control when castings are unacceptable or suspect.
• Sort parts by destructive and non-destructive methods when needed.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Help production supervisors and engineers solve problems.
• Set up tools for spares; use and edit CNC programs; troubleshoot CNC equipment and programs.
• Support the PM schedule and record changes in records.
• Carry out process improvements and Kaizen activities.
• Participate in safety, 5S, and environmental programs; perform special projects as assigned.
