Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Tester for 2nd shift to perform assembly work, test finished goods, label products, and conduct final inspections on an assigned production line. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the hours are 3:00 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m., with flexibility as the business requires. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; strong English reading/writing, basic math, and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and fractions/decimals.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Reading and writing in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly work on the production line.
• Run tests on finished product.
• Register finished product and apply labels.
• Document electrical readings on UR labels.
• Perform final quality inspection and cleaning.
• Stage finished product for handoff to next department.
• Document hour-by-hour charts.
