Job summary

Snelling Staffing DFW is seeking a quality-focused professional in Grand Prairie, TX to represent the Quality department and collaborate with production. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision QA tools, and communicating across management and shop floor to resolve issues.

The position includes an M-TH 6:00–4:30 schedule with mandatory OT on Fridays and potential Saturday OT on a rotating basis. Experience in sheet metal quality and completing FAI on time is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have quality background and ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and QA tools.
• Strong communication with multiple levels of management and production staff.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and schedules.
• Experience with sheet metal quality processes and FAI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Grand Prairie Quality to production and customers.
• Work with Quality Supervisor/Manager on corrective actions and supplier issues.
• Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues and ensure on-time FAI completion.

Job description

This position will report to the Director of Quality and act as a Grand Prairie Quality representative.

Work Schedule: M-TH 6:00 – 4:30

Friday: Mandatory OT: 6:00-4:30

Sat: OT as needed on a rotating schedule

Hourly Rate: 22.00 / hr

Responsibilities:

• Ability to self-start and work with little or no supervision.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other Quality tools.
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and deadlines.
• Must have Microsoft office experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer drawings.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management and production staff.
• Work closely with production to resolve Quality issues.
• Work with the Quality Supervisor /Manager on Corrective Actions, customer issues, non-conforming material, and supplier issues.

  Additional experience as a PLUS!

• Experience completing FAI’s on time to meet customer requirements
• Previous Quality experience in sheet metal manufacturing.
