Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Quality Inspector/Coordinator to monitor supplier products and in-process items, resolving discrepancies to keep manufacturing on schedule. You will liaise with suppliers, support containment of nonconforming parts, and validate corrective actions to ensure premier customer service and continuous improvement.

The role requires reading complex blueprints, applying inspection methods, and using measurement tools. Strong communication and 5S/kaizen participation are expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts.
• Must demonstrate the values of customer satisfaction, integrity, continuous improvement and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve day-to-day problems/discrepancies with supplier or internal products to ensure availability for Manufacturing Operations.
• Communicate with suppliers to solve issues and make products available to Manufacturing Operations.
• Support nonconforming parts process and assist with containment of product.
