Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Technician, Quality 1 for the 2nd shift to support in-process and product quality activities. The role focuses on first layer assessment, handling non-conforming materials, and ensuring corrective actions are applied on the manufacturing line.

The position requires basic quality system knowledge and the ability to communicate with internal customers. Prior experience with shop floor control is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Performs tasks related to in-process and product first layer assessment.
• Supports identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition.
• Ensures changes and corrective actions are respected in the manufacturing line.
• Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
• Knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.

Responsibilities

• Assists with quality checks on in-process and finished products.
• Maintains documentation for quality control processes.
• Communicates quality issues to internal customers clearly.
