Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group in the United States seeks a Quality Technician to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements at every stage of manufacturing.

You will perform pre-inspection, audits, root cause analysis, and support continuous quality improvement while documenting findings and collaborating with teams.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work overtime; benefits include health, 401(k), and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years related Quality Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read relevant measuring equipment.
• Able to read and understand engineering documents such as partprints and assembly drawings.
• Demonstrate accuracy in inspections and documentation, with minimal errors.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre-inspection, test drive of chassis (where applicable), and quality audits of finished product in accordance with process documentation.
• Facilitate/Participate in Root Cause Analysis, Design FMEA, Production FMEA, Practical Problem Solving, etc.
• Initiate non-conforming material documents for supplier quality issues.
• Perform audits of new and existing processes.
• Facilitate and support the creation and execution of quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives that align with customer expectations.
• Act as a mediator when needed to clarify customer expectations or interpret standards.
• Document writing, control, and management.
• Perform data entry, analyze quality data, and generate reports to communicate findings.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, support team collaboration, and participate in activities that promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager/Supervisor.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process changes.
• Develop continuous improvement projects for the quality audit process.
• Complete Quality Technician Program tasks daily.
