Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician in California to ensure manufactured products meet requirements. You will perform inspections using precision tools, record data, and communicate non-conformances to ensure quality before reaching customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of manufacturing or inspection experience, with familiarity in blueprint reading and basic math. The role supports Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects within a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience or related experience.
  • Inspection training and/or experience preferred.
  • Lean and continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • Applies basic inspection skills and procedures.
  • Familiar with inspection tooling (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges).
  • Engineering drawing (blueprint) reading skills.
  • Basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • PC skills to document data.

Responsibilities

  • Performs standardized quality control tests/inspection on products, materials, and components.
  • Ensures compliance with internal/external quality standards.
  • Records data and compares to standards.
  • Communicate and document non-conformances.
  • Resolves routine questions and refers complex issues onward.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Takes on new activities and special assignments.
