Job summary

Stiles Machinery in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Individual Contributor - Mechanical Quality for ensuring first-time quality of HMNA machines. You will inspect, document, and drive quality improvements with guidance from senior staff.

Qualifications include knowledge of quality practices, PPAP, GD&T, metrology, and experience with SAP/ERP. A High School Diploma is required, with 0–5 years of quality experience and a focus on teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of quality practices for industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with PPAP fundamentals and manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Background in metrology and measurement tools.
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure first time quality of HMNA machines following standard quality processes.
• Use quality tools to inspect in-process and finished products.
• Coach production associates on standard manufacturing, commissioning, and inspection processes.
• Create and manage Quality Notifications in SAP.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to improve processes.
• Conduct RCCA investigations for quality escapes with guidance.
