Job summary

Allient Inc. in Oshkosh, WI, is seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform diversified duties to inspect raw material and in-process items, audit finished products, and release for packing in alignment with engineering and customer specifications.

You will maintain records, support inventory and calibration tasks, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Lab staff to ensure proper disposition of non-conforming material and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing roles.
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and quality methods.
• Familiar with inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test product quality against dimensional, appearance, and performance criteria.
• Audit finished products and determine disposition of non-conforming material.
• Maintain electronic or hard copy records of inspections and test results.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager, QA, Engineering, and Purchasing to follow specs.
• Receive and inspect returned goods and assign disposition.
• Compile metrics on rework, scrap, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
• Assist in inventory tasks: enter data, receipts, issues, and stock movements.
• Support calibration recall reports and maintain records.
