Job summary

IPEX is a leading plastic pipe manufacturer in the USA, seeking a QA Technician to ensure products meet stringent usability, safety, and performance standards. You will inspect, document, and participate in continuous improvement within a safety-focused team environment.

You’ll work with precision measuring tools and support processes that drive quality. The role is on-site in a manufacturing setting with opportunities for professional growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1-4 years of experience in a quality assurance or technician role.
• Experience with PI tables, micrometers, and ovality gauges.
• Familiarity with CSA, UL, ICC, IAPMO, NSF, and ISO standards is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment through training, adherence to policies, and proactive housekeeping.
• Perform inspection activities using PI tables, micrometers, and ovality gauges.
• Ensure tools and equipment meet company standards.
• Identify and resolve product quality issues.
• Validate impact and skin testing processes.
• Investigate non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
• Support and mentor Process Controllers in quality procedures.
• Collaborate on material trials and new product evaluations.
• Monitor production output and run conditions to ensure compliance.
• Complete documentation and quality reporting accurately.
• Develop a strong understanding of operational processes and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
