Job summary

AGS Company Automotive Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect incoming materials and in-process product at the Hoyt plant and Distribution Center. You will document results, flag non-conformances, and partner with Production and Quality teams to maintain first-pass quality.

You’ll grow into broader roles including time studies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement under supervision of the Quality & Manufacturing Engineer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection or hands-on manufacturing preferred; attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
• Comfort with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and basic engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and supplier shipments.
• Conduct in-process inspections on production lines to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances; route to appropriate disposition.
• Support calibration and maintenance of gauges and measurement tools; assist in root cause investigations.
