Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, laboratory setting, or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficient in using Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of incoming and in-process materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Provide specialized technical support to engineers and operations for evaluating final product characteristics.
• Verify process set-ups and changeovers, and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
• Analyze test data by comparing results to specifications, and promptly alert key personnel to any negative trends or nonconformances.
• Fill in for absences, vacations, or other coverage needs on alternate shifts, often on short notice.
