Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based Quality Technician role within the Transfusion Medicine Division is responsible for bioanalytical and platform quality testing in WWLIMS, QIMS, and SAP systems. You will aid CAPA investigations, maintain test inventories, and ensure adherence to the Quality System.

The role requires a science degree and strong documentation skills. Expect work in a high-paced lab with minimal supervision and opportunities for professional growth within Abbott's global quality framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent required.
• Experience with bioanalytical testing in GMP/GLP environments preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, LIMS, ETMS, and electronic document systems.
• Strong documentation and CAPA investigation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily platform and biochemistry testing as specified.
• Identify non-conformances and escalate to quality professionals.
• Maintain testing records and quality documentation.
• Support CAPA investigations and trend data.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and EH&S policies.
