TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Morristown, TN is seeking a Quality Technician III to advance quality at the plant. You will perform inspection, testing, documentation, and participate in corrective actions, supplier quality, customer complaints, audits, and line validation while supporting the Quality Management System.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role blends hands-on product testing with higher‑level quality responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform detailed quality testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple quality-related priorities.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to support audits, corrective actions, change-control activities, and line validations.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection & testing of finished materials and components.
• Perform standard procedures for organoleptic evaluation and weight checks.
• Maintain records and calculate statistics related to quality tests.
• Prepare color standards, run data forms, and COAs for customers.
• Assist with analyzing and resolving product-quality concerns.
• Provide hands-on management of key elements of the Quality Management System.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer interactions related to product quality and expectations.
