Job summary

UEC Electronic in The Farms, SC is seeking a Quality Inspector to develop and maintain inspection reports and perform inspections across all production stages.

You will measure against drawings, use calipers, micrometers, height and depth gauges, and operate a CMM. Independent work and good organization are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting to drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform and interpret First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).

Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain inspection reports
• Perform inspection across all stages of production and receiving
• Inspect and measure products according to quality standards, and drawing specifications
• Ensure products comply with company and customer requirements
• Ensure gauges, tools, and equipment are calibrated before use
• Document nonconforming material / quality issues
• Work closely with Quality Engineers
• Maintain all records / documentation of all inspections and potential issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection
• Experience performing detailed product inspection using drawings and specifications
• Ability to perform and interpret First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
