Job summary

The AZEK Company is seeking a quality auditor for its Boise plant to safeguard product quality across the Production Department.

You will perform checks every two hours and hourly part inspections, operate measuring tools, and manage paperwork with attention to accuracy. The role involves a 12-hour shift pattern and exposure to hot environments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred.
• Experience with ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 Quality Systems & Auditing, a plus.
• Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities.
• Must be able to accurately read quality measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, square, tape measure).
• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures that can become very hot depending on the weather.
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability and interest in working a 12 hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Physical Demands

Ability to work in an environment that can become hot/cold (temperature) depending on the weather. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., infrequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
