Position Purpose:
Carry out assignments from quality management, involved in assuring product quality. To maintain document control, calibration, product approval, weld control, and receiving inspection systems. To assist in operator training on quality related issues. To report needs and opportunities for improvement of overall product quality as requested by quality management.
Essential Functions:
· Inspect, evaluate and record results of purchased components using the proper inspection in accordance with Receiving Inspection Instructions.
· Record results of Receiving Inspections and follow established procedures in providing feedback on analysis of vendor performance.
· Inspect and evaluate components and suspensions returned from customers and specify work necessary before components can be returned to stock.
· Work with inventory control and other departments to maintain M.R.B. area. Ensure that area is controlled for accuracy of Action system to actual inventory quarantined.
· Inspect assembled components for Intraax assembly/Loose Axle/Sabu product and monitor wheel end assembly.

Education and Training
· Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent experience in applicable area is acceptable.
Minimum Qualifications
· Process knowledge in Assembly, Fabrication, or Machining.
· Must be computer literate.
· Possess adequate written and oral communication skills.
· Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels of management and production personnel.
· Self-motivated.
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
