Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician in York, PA. This role audits, tests and measures finished goods to ensure customer standards are met and that our GMP practices are followed in a manufacturing setting.

Key duties include applying statistical tools to monitor performance, performing laboratory testing, conducting process inspections during molding and packaging, and communicating quality issues to shift leaders.

Qualifications

• The technician position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with GMP policies and safety standards.
• Apply statistical tools to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and report on product quality.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel and shift leaders.
