ProAmpac is seeking a Quality Technician in Spartanburg, SC, to support the Quality Supervisor and Production Manager in maintaining the SQF-compliant Quality and Food Safety system. You will assist with audits, collect data, and help improve processes while ensuring accuracy in records and reporting.

The role requires reading/writing proficiency, strong mathematical and analytical abilities, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of reading, writing and mathematical skills very well.
• Some experience can be obtained from on the job, but other aspects require additional training or personal knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand production orders and Quality & Food Safety procedures.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of quality technology.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Supports all activities in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and food safety management system.
• Report any quality and/or food safety problems to personnel of authority to initiate action.
• Follow and enforce SQF- approved policies and work instructions.
• Assist with SQF audits by preparing records, collecting data, and any requests from the auditor.
• Must be able to read and write professional documents and possess analytical and statistical skills to recognize defects and improve Quality systems.
• Must be able to lift a 50-pound maximum bag/box weight.
• Participate in safety shift meetings and comply with plant safety rules.
