Job summary

Modine, a leader in thermal management solutions, seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. The role involves inspecting products against engineering blueprints and customer requirements, identifying non-conformances, and using precision test equipment.

You will document tests, maintain quality data, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints accurately.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for compliance with blueprints and customer requirements.
• Relate and address non-conformance to Quality Engineer or Manager.
• Operate test equipment (micrometer, calipers, etc.) for quality checks.
• Conduct and document product evaluation tests.
• Maintain quality data on control logs and charts.
• Develop routings from existing data and Bill of Materials.
• Assist production with new equipment implementation and manufacturing instructions.
• Read and understand engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain data for statistical analysis.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement efforts (Kaizen, MPS).
• Follow work instructions and use office software (Excel, Word, Access).
• Work cross-functionally with multiple departments and exercise good judgment.
