Job summary

AUTOKINITON seeks a Quality Technician for the Greenville, SC area to support the quality program on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Responsibilities include inspections, testing, data entry, and welding-related quality tasks within a plant setting.

The role emphasizes knowledge of quality systems, SPC, control plans, and strong communication to collaborate with supervisors and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with welding and stamping processes is preferred.
• Ability to train and deliver information to various work groups.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn various computer programs.
• Understanding and strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, SPC, control plans, work instructions, and product layout.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Quality Program by performing related tasks in conformance with quality standards.
• Responsible for inspection, tests, surveillance and quality operations support.
• Collects data and enters into appropriate reporting tools.
• Conducts destructive and non-destructive tests on welds.
• Provides quality knowledge to supervisors and manufacturing colleagues as needed.
