Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a detail-oriented documentation specialist to ensure quality policy alignment and SQF compliance. You will engage with multiple departments to support product setup, calibration, and certification maintenance, including Kosher, RSPO, and Organic programs.

Strong writing and communication skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in food industry documentation and a solid understanding of quality systems to safeguard safety and quality across our varied product

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience documenting in a regulated food environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elements.
• Develop connection with departments involved in product setup.
• Maintain plant floor activity knowledge and SQF certification.
• Support maintenance of Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certifications.
• Document control and equipment calibration/verification.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and clear written communication.

Key Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elements
• Develop a strong connection with departments involved in the initial product setup
• Develop a strong knowledge of plant floor activities
• Support the maintenance of SQF certification
• Support the maintenance of Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certification
• Document control
• Equipment calibration/verification
• Must be detail-oriented
• Good verbal and written skills,

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience in documentation
• Working knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality
• Strong interpersonal skills to include team building and oral communication
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience in working in quality systems documentation within the food manufacturing industry
