Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Non-Conforming Material and related quality issues.
  • Report feedback to Focus Factory and Customer Focused Team during shifts.
  • Follow Plexus quality policy, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor own work to ensure quality and identify waste reduction opportunities.
  • Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed.
  • Lead in development and direction of Quality Inspectors.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:$44,400.00 - $66,600.00Purpose Statement: The Quality Technician I provides effective functional support of assigned Quality and Supplier Quality processes, goods and services, to meet functional department and customers' requirements.Key Job Accountabilities:Support Non-Conforming Material.Report basic feedback to Focus Factory and Customer Focused Team with issues during the shift, in order to help continuous improvement activities.Understands and follows Plexus quality policy guidelines, customer specifications and adheres to regulatory compliance. Monitors own work to ensure quality standard is met as well as look for opportunities to improve quality and eliminate waste at work. Keeps supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.Lead in development and providing direction of Quality Inspectors.Education/Experience Qualifications:Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require physical stamina with strong manual dexterity and fine motor control with precise measurement equipment or delicate tools and components requiring a steady touch. Visual inspection may require acute near vision and the ability to work continually using magnifiers, cameras and other vision systems. Role will spend a majority of the time standing and sitting with limited activities including lifting packages, moving material and working around lifting and material movement equipment as needed.
