Job Location: Youngstown Manufacturing Headquarters - Youngstown, OH 44515

Summary

Responsible for supporting the quality function at Hynes Industries

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform inspection/testing (e.g., First Articles, customer returns, incoming inspection, supplier issues) using gages including micrometers, calipers, protractors and various other gages/fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings
• Assist with Document Control efforts (e.g., documentation updates)
• Support the Control of Nonconforming Product process by ensuring appropriate segregation, identification and disposition of such product and entering information into the Nonconformance Log.
• Assist with problem identification, investigation and resolution
• Assist with complaints (e.g., supplier, customer and internal) including entering information into complaint system database
• Advise, train and support operators with the quality processes
• Perform product audit production/inspection
• Perform outgoing dock audits of finished goods
• Assist incoming inspection for raw material and outside processing product
• Maintain records per Business Management System requirements
• Additional duties, as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High School/GED equivalent; 2 plus years in the quality assurance field. These are minimum requirements. Additional education or training preferred in the area of quality. ASQ certificates desirable.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit. The employee is regularly required to use hands to feel or handle tools, objects and controls.
