Quality Technicians play an integral role in Daisy's mission of providing high-quality, great-tasting products. We are looking for motivated individuals with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, adaptability, and a desire to learn and grow. Our team manages a 24/7 production operation, aiming to provide a work-life balance with an average of 45 hours/week. Responsibilities include completing documentation and data entry for samples and results, collaborating with various departments, interpreting production schedules, and performing product testing such as fat, solids, pH, viscosity, protein, microbiological counts, and antibiotic residue testing.

Principal Duties:

• Analytical: Sample collection, labeling, verification of labels and code dates, sensory analysis, equipment operation, communication of results, inventory management, pest control, and record review.
• Microbiology Testing: Conduct microbiological tests on raw, in-process, and finished products, communicate results, and perform water, environmental, and project-specific tests.
• Other duties: Maintain LIMS, manage product hold and release, restock supplies, ensure compliance, prepare for audits, maintain lab cleanliness, and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; technical science degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of lab experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and manuals.
• Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.
• Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and stand for long periods.

Shift:

2nd Shift

Pay Rate:

Starting at $20/hr, with 10% premium for off-hours and 15% for weekends.
