EIS Legacy LLC is hiring a Quality Technician to promote quality awareness and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System on the manufacturing floor. The role includes inspections, PPAP, PPAP, and coaching operators on quality practices.

Two levels exist; Level 2 adds calibration records management, customer complaint handling, and PPAP levels 1-4. Strong measurement skills and SAP familiarity are preferred.

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Baseline knowledge of blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with SAP and SPC is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform setup, in-process, and final inspections per criteria.
• Complete First Article Inspections, COE and COA documentation.
• Conduct floor audits and document non-conformances.
• Perform vision system inspections and PPAP inspections as needed.
• Program vision systems when required.
• Coach/train operators on QMS and measurement practices.
• Assist with other quality functions as needed.

Job Description:Hourly Rate: $22-26Purpose of the Job:The Quality Technician promotes quality awareness by emphasizing the importance of adhering to the Quality Management System. This role ensures that products, processes, analysis, and documentation comply with company and customer-specific quality standards.-Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)Technician Level 1 Functions· Conduct and verify setup, in-process, and final inspections on the manufacturing floor based on customer and company quality criteria.· Perform quality verifications and complete First Article Inspections, Certificates of Conformance (COC), and Certificates of Analysis (COA).· Conduct manufacturing floor audits and document non-conformances.· Perform vision system inspections and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) inspections as needed.· Program vision systems when required.· Coach and train operators on customer requirements, QMS requirements, and best measurement practices.· Assist with other quality functions as needed.Technician Level 2 FunctionsAll Level 1 Functions plus:· Maintain calibration records for company equipment, including internal and external calibrations.· Submit vendor complaints and follow up for corrective actions and credit.· Assist with customer complaints and follow-up activities.· Manage customer surveys and assessments.· Maintain the nonconforming inventory area, ensuring inventory matches SAP.· Complete PPAP levels 1, 2, and 4, as well as annual PPAPs; assist with PPAP level 3.· Prepare customer-specific documents and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS).· Conduct capability studies and coach/train Level 1 Quality Technicians.-QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the requirements listed below.
