Job Overview

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring a Quality Technician in Anderson, SC to perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling.
• Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications.
• Develop inspection instructions.
• Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed.
• Gather data to help support continual improvement activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2–year degree with HS diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
• Knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques.
• Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000.
• Certification such as CQT preferred.

Physical Demands

• Standing for extended periods.
• Repetitive motion.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling parts and containers.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; team lifts over 50 lbs.
• Able to work in various temperature conditions.
