Qualifications

  • Experience in a quality and/or manufacturing environment.

  • Basic metrology knowledge, including use of micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently with attention to detail.

  • Perform basic calibration for gauging and measurement devices.
  • Screen incoming or finished goods for conformance to specifications.

Summary

The Quality Technician I supports the Quality Department's goals by inspecting and documenting parts, components, and products in accordance with quality plans and procedures. This entry‑level role focuses on inspection accuracy, calibration, and documentation to ensure product conformance and data integrity.

What You'll Do

Accountabilities & Measures

  • Meet objective goals assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
  • Maintain inspection accuracy, calibration compliance, and timely documentation.

Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary with occasional standing, walking, and light physical activity. Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Occasionally lift/move up to 42 lbs; carry up to 15 lbs.

Work Environment

Office and manufacturing settings with moderate to loud noise, exposure to moving machinery, and airborne particulates.
