Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC places a Quality Technician at our client's facility to join the QA team. The role involves performing line checks, sanitation verifications, and gluten testing on rotating 12-hour shifts.

You will log test results, calibrate instruments, and manage retain samples while spotting issues early and partnering with production leads on fixes. Candidates should have at least 1 year QA experience in a food/beverage plant with GMP/HACCP familiarity, and be able to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 1+ years of QA experience in a food/beverage plant (GMP and HACCP familiar).
• Ability to handle 12-hour shifts on your feet and lift up to 50lbs.
• Sharp eye for detail and good record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Run daily line checks: weights, seals, metal detectors, and gluten testing.
• Perform sanitation inspections, ATP swabs, and sensory taste/look evaluations.
• Log test results, calibrate testing tools, and manage retain samples.
• Spot quality issues early, partner with production leads on fixes, and help with root-cause troubleshooting.

At our clients facility, quality isn't just a department-it's there reputation. We are looking for an observant, proactive Quality Technician to join our QA team on day and night shift. Days: Tuesday-Thursday 4:00AM-4:30PM + Every other Friday Nights: Monday-Wednesday 4:00PM-4:30AM + Every other Thursday Rotating 12-hour shifts (alternating 3-day and 4-day workweeks, built-in days off, occasional overtime).
