Job summary

Stem Dts in Powder Springs, GA is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform checks and inspections on manufactured parts, sort reworkable materials, and review defective lots. You will calibrate gauges and conduct visual QA assessments, coordinating with the QA team on customer and supplier claims and supporting audits.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year on a production floor, familiarity with blueprint reading, and experience with measurement gauges,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of divisional machining processes and capabilities.
• Knowledge of divisional manufactured parts & customer base.
• Experience with stainless steel materials and processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance checks and inspections on manufactured parts.
• Complete inspections and sort materials for re-processing.
• Review defective material and document findings.
• Complete calibrations and visual QA assessments.
• Coordinate with QA team for customer and supplier claims.
• Assist with quality audits.
