Job summary

Northern Staffing Services in Petoskey, MI is seeking a Quality Technician to help ensure products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with paid training and opportunities for career advancement.

The role offers starting pay of $20.50–$22.50 per hour plus day & night shifts and a 12-hour swing schedule, along with excellent benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, PTO, a 401(k) with company contribution,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and product specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting products during production
• Performing quality testing and documenting results
• Identifying and containing non-conforming products
• Completing quality reports and maintaining production records
• Reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications
• Assisting with training on quality procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining calibration records for quality equipment
• Working closely with production to maintain quality standards
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area

What You’ll Do:
