Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure customer specifications and our high standards of quality are met across plastic container production operations. You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering the best quality packaging in the industry.

You will conduct inspections, measure dimensions with instruments, and engage with associates to verify conformance while growing your skills through extensive on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of quality control methods & approaches.

• Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions and performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications.

You Will

Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality

Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications

Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

Ability to work 3rd shift 10:45PM-715AM, M-F

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Minimum of one year of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment

Working knowledge of quality control methods & approaches

Ability to walk & stand on production floor throughout work shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
