Description

This position is responsible for driving quality assurance activities to support manufacturing operations in a team-oriented environment. This involves maintaining a quality data infrastructure to monitor, report, and improve supplier, in-process, and product quality. The role requires strong teamwork skills and expertise in problem-solving techniques to resolve quality issues.

Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set up and perform routine mechanical, visual, and First Article inspections, verifying compliance with drawings/specs.
  2. Perform ISO internal audits as required.
  3. Ensure quality standards comply with division and departmental policies, national and international codes, and safety requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain Quality Assurance policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation; revise documents to improve clarity and practices.
  5. Identify and remove nonconforming products from production.
  6. Process non-conforming products from the manufacturing floor.
  7. Document and disseminate inspection results.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to lift and move 35 pounds and operate a pallet jack.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work cooperatively.
  • Experience with inspection measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and make decisions accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing and safety compliance.
