Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Hebron, OH is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure customer specifications and our high standards are met across plastic container production. You will inspect in-process and finished products on the lab, production floor, and in the warehouse to evaluate product quality.

The role features 12-hour shifts with a rotating 2-week schedule, advancement from within, premium pay, and a strong benefits program backed by 46 years in the community.

Competenze

• One year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of quality control methods and approaches.
• Ability to walk and stand on production floor throughout shift.

As a Quality Technician, you ensure customer specifications & our company high standards of quality are met throughout our plastic container production operations. You'll join our team of collaborative associates focused on producing the best quality packaging in the industry.

You Will

• Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality
• Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications
• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Ability to work 6:45 am - 7:00 pm on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of quality control methods & approaches
• Ability to walk & stand on production floor throughout work shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
