Sigma Software Vertex is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Manufacturing Engineering team in Foster City, CA. The role involves root cause analysis on vehicles, reading drawings, CAD models, and collaboration with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality.

Responsibilities include documenting troubleshooting techniques, identifying trends with Manufacturing Engineering, updating quality documents, and developing training plans for inspection and quality alerts.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 4-6 years of experience as a quality technician.
• HS Diploma/GED with 6-8 years of experience as a quality technician.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models.
• Broad technical background in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience performing root cause analysis.
• Ability to read PFMEA and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and CAD models to understand part design and assembly.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to facilitate root cause analysis.
• Develop and document troubleshooting techniques.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and communicate trends.
• Create and update quality documents.
• Develop training plans for inspection, quality standards, and quality alerts.

Quality TechnicianLocation: Clawiter (Kato as needed)Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm (flexibility for OT)In this role, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team and work cross-functionally with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality within Sigma Software Vertex.
