Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a QA/QC professional to perform routine quality checks on materials, processes, and products in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or food science coursework preferred.
• QA/QC or food manufacturing experience a plus.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, SQF, or similar food safety programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry systems).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and varied shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/plant setting with exposure to food ingredients and industrial equipment
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs), and wearing PPE for extended periods may be required
