Job summary

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. in Anderson, SC is seeking a Quality Technician to execute basic quality techniques, analyze materials and processes, and report findings to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have inspection and analysis techniques.
• Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000.
• Prefer a person with a certification such as the CQT.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling
• Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
• Develop inspection instructions
• Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed
• Gathers data to help support continual improvement activityPerforms other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience
• Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques. Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000. Prefer a person with a certification such as the CQT

Physical Demands:

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive motion.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
• Frequent lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs.
• Able to work in various temperature conditions.
